Snack Time

We will provide a small snack every Sunday.  Please hand out snacks in the middle of class.  There were reports of trash left in the church and parking lot.  So, to avoid this issue, we will no longer pass out snacks at the end of class.  Kids will have to throw away any and all snacks and wrappers before they leave class

Lesson: Click on the lesson title for the Sunday you for the Sunday you are assigned, and it will take you to the lesson plan. Not only do we read the story but you will also have the video to go with it. You can use the one here or you can show a different one. But we want to do both, reading the story and showing a visual.
Praise Time: These are the 2 songs we will sing this month. You can play them back to back or split them up.
Craft: Go through your lesson and select the craft or coloring page you would like to do and let your leader know which on you would like to do. Please let them know by the Thursday before your assigned day to teach. Or you can choose to do your own craft as well.
Activity: This is optional but it is also good to have an activity planned to get the kids out of their chairs or in the case the service runs longer than normal. This can be a game or science experiment that helps our kids understand the lesson more. I have examples set here for you but feel free to create your own activity that will go with the lesson. Let your leader know by the Thursday before your assigned day if you choose the activity here and we will get the items you will need.
Snack: I will have the snack prepared for your class. The snack will also go with the lesson so you will have another opportunity to talk about the lesson as you pass out the snacks.
Prayer: This is an important and vital part of your class. Please pray before snack time to thank God for His provision and the opportunity to come to the table. We also want to pray to end the class to seal the Word of God in every heart and protect every child as they leave to their homes.
Canva: This is for Pre-k and Elementary classes. You have a computer in your class where your lesson is set up. Your leader added you to the Canva account so that you can present your class and have your videos in order and not searching for your songs and lesson during your class. I encourage you to utilize this tool. Let your leader know if you have any questions.
Bible Verse: The kids should learn the Bible verse by the end of the month. The goal is that they should have a catalog of Bible verses by the end of the year. The verse is broken down by weeks. We add a little more every week. You can add hand gestures to help them remember it or play it to a tune of a song. I do have rewards for those that memorize it. Please reach out if you need those. Children learn differently, so its ok if they don’t learn it the first time. If they try, that is a great start! We want to encourage the kids to learn the Bible verse and say it through out your class time.
